idea for final piece for CVS project

After several ideas I came up with during researching my space and place project i chose the embarkation point of shoes. I researched the history of shoes and galway and tryed to find links between the two. I had several different ideas after researching which included working with arches , bridges, Sculptures of a shoe makers last i found and many different approches . After doing obserational studies on shoes and taking photographs of galway city i realised that i wanted to work with all different sizes of shoes and i chose to do my project on the skyline of the houses at the Claddagh. My final idea involves making a colour studie of the houses at the claddagh and setting up all different sizes of shoes in the same manner as the houses on the claddagh to replicate the skyline of the houses and making two similar paintings...one of the house and one of the shoes.. i feel this idea would represent the notion of "Shoes" and  "Galway" in a way which would allow people to compare the two paintings and also be aware of the subject matter.i will be making these paintings in the style i blogged about previously. I will also be completing other work on the other ideas i have had.
